The Europa Diss-Art project intends to elaborate and to disseminate a common methodology, which is an innovative pedagogical instrument for non formal education disabled people through dance and other arts, for the development of skills such as creativity, expression and communication.
Four partners will take part in this project, most of them are non-profit making organizations, from Spain, Sweden, Italy and Rumania, with wide local experience in the training of disabled people through the scenic arts.
- To elaborate a common methodology of application of dance and other arts, as an innovative pedagogical instrument for disabled people, through exchange experiences.
- To promote scenic and visual arts as a way to develop and acquire of expression and communication skills for disabled people.
- To make a society and public sensitive to the real possibilities of people with disabilities, re-education of the meaning of Art and Culture.
- To create links of union and common identity, within the European citizenship, between people with disabilities and artists from different States, fostering dialogue and cultural enrichment and social integration, promoting in addition the mobility of disabled artists.
- These projects are targeted to disabled people as well as professionals who develop this training.
